Rashel

Rashel is a 19-year-old who has been diagnosed with B-Cell Leukemia. Rashel gets her medical treatment at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Rashel is still in her chemo treatment regimen, receiving doses every 2 weeks that often require inpatient stays due to complications. With her mobility very low at times, she is having difficulty with wound healing. Despite her weak condition and many health setbacks, her Dr. states she is doing better from last December. Once Rashel is on a maintenance routine, they hope to resume her physical therapy sessions and get her back to family gatherings and social activities.

We learned of something that would put a BIG Smile on her face!!! Rashel’s wish would be to meet Marc Anthony and see his performance live. The Volunteers with A Special Wish Chicago are looking at various locations throughout the U.S. while he is on tour to make her wish a reality.
