Emily is a 19 year old, diagnosed with Super Refractory Convulsive Epilepsy. As a life threatening condition with severe breathing issues, this proved to be very challenging for Emily as well as her medical staff.   Despite this condition, she has always continued to maintain a positive attitude.  When Emily went six-plus months without being hospitalized, she took that positive momentum and asked A Special Wish Chicago to grant her a dream wish.  That wish was to go to Disney World!  On April 30th, Emily and her family made their way to the Magic Kingdom. She especially enjoyed being able to rock her Minnie Mouse ears around all the parks, since Disney World is her favorite happy place.  During Emily’s trip, she was able to create memories for herself and her family that will be with them for a lifetime!
